Abbey Springs’ annual Member/Guest event is one of the most anticipated golf tournaments of the year. This beloved tradition provides a fun and competitive environment for members to showcase the Abbey Springs Experience to their guests, while enjoying a day full of camaraderie, great golf, and delicious food.

- Shotgun Start: 12:45 PM
- Format: Shamble with a Twist
- Entry: Open to all Unit Owners, golf members, and their guests. Men and women are welcome. Limit of one guest per owner/member.
Format: Shamble with a Twist
We’ve put a fun spin on the traditional Shamble format to make this year’s event even more exciting!
- Shamble Format
Both players will tee off on every hole. After the tee shots, the team selects the best shot, and both players will play their own balls to the hole. The best score of the two will be recorded for each hole.
- The Twist: Random Holes
On 6 randomly selected holes, we’ll discard the better score and count the worse score for the team. This adds an element of strategy and excitement, as players will need to stay focused and work together to avoid the worse score on those key holes.
The rest of the holes will proceed as usual, with the best score counting. This format ensures a fun, competitive experience while keeping the day enjoyable for everyone.
Schedule & Food
- After the golf, we will gather for the Famous Crab Leg Dinner at 5:45 PM, where everyone can enjoy some great food and share stories from the day.
