After a period of frigid winter months, it’s no secret that we’re all itching for the warmer months ahead. Birds chirping, flowers blooming and sun shining are small victories that we will take to help eliminate the winter blues. The official start of spring is March 19th, and with that comes many exciting Abbey Springs events and activities that you should know about. From upcoming Lake Geneva weddings to athletic events, our properties will be buzzing in the next few months.

The Indoor Triathalon

If you’ve always wanted to participate in a triathlon, now’s your chance! The potential date for this indoor triathlon is Saturday, May 30th and there will be several different age divisions for this event. Swimming, biking and running will each be fixed time events that you can see how far you can go within an allowed time period. Pushing yourself to your physical limit is a great way to kick off the spring season.

Color Dash 5K

Another upcoming event that we’re excited about is the sixth-annual family friend Color Dash 5K on Saturday, June 20th from 10am-11:30am. This is an untimed event so there’s absolutely no pressure, and participants wear white t-shirts and run through the “color zone” on the course. You’ll end the race covered in food grade colored corn starch. Get creative and wear a wig, your craziest tutu or your brightest running shoes. This is the perfect event to combine fun, family and fitness all in one!

Time to Tee Off

It’s finally time to start thinking about golfing season! Tee off on one of the most incredible golf courses that the Midwest has to offer surrounded by other golfers who have a love for the game.
