Enjoy Fall Golf by Lake Geneva At Abbey Springs

Perfect Weather for Golf

The hot summer temperatures can have you sweating before you even take your first golf swing at the first tee box. Swinging a club with your shirt stuck to your side isn’t the golf experience you were looking for over the weekend.

Any time spent on the golf course with a golf club in your hand is a great time, but the cooler weather and lower humidity levels are a welcome shift. Fall is a beautiful time of year and the perfect season to enjoy a round of 18 holes with family or friends.

Book your Fall tee time at Abbey Springs today.

Breathtaking Autumn Views

Outside of dropping a putt from 30 feet with 20 feet of break, or putting the ball within 5 feet on a par-3 tee shot, the best thing about golf is the scenery. Being in nature for four hours, especially during the fall season, is indescribable.

The morning dew careening off the fairway, the colorful fall foliage swaying with the wind, and the rolling slopes of Geneva Lake’s beautiful shoreline, provide a spectacular backdrop to your round. Even if it rains, it can still make for a beautiful and memorable day spent at our golf resort by Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Save Money On Your Round

During the fall season, you can play the same great golf courses at a lower rate. Most public courses–including Abbey Springs–start charging less for a round of golf once the weather turns cooler.

With the reduced demand for tee times, you can benefit from reduced rates on everything from range balls to golf carts and even annual memberships. These discounts are meant to entice golfers to play more often during the slower fall golf season.

Starting on October 3, you can save up to 20% on your 9-hole and 18-hole golf packages at Abbey Springs.

Invest In Your Game

Most golfers will wait until the spring to purchase new golf clubs, head to the driving range on a daily basis, or sign up for golf lessons in Wisconsin. All of the new sets of golf clubs are typically released during the spring, meaning if you wait until later in the year, you may be able to get clubs at a reduced rate.

The local PGA professionals may have more availability for golf instruction lessons during the fall months, providing valuable insight as to how you can improve your game. Additionally, with more available time for you to golf, the fall is the perfect time for you to work on your weaknesses and to improve your game heading into next year’s golf season.

The Course Is In Great Shape

In addition to our recent renovation, we spend all year taking amazing care of our grounds, tee boxes, fairways, hazards, and greens. Along with the course being in excellent playing shape, there is additional moisture in the air during the autumn season, helping your ball roll further on fairways and greens. No pro or amateur player is going to complain about extra yardage off the tee.

Enjoy the Game After Your Round

With fall comes football. Whether you are a college fan or an NFL fanatic, there is nothing better than getting in an early morning round (or two) of golf, then grabbing a bite to eat and a beer at Abbey Springs’ Clubhouse Grille to sit back and enjoy the games.
